Why H₃?

Because it is a way to solve our problems that allows life to go on without any upsets. Because it is a way to solve our problems in such a way so that most people will not even realize we're solving them. Because it is an ideology that is agreeable to those who have power over making changes in this world. Because it is an ideology that does not rely on humans to do other than what is in their nature to do in order to get to a very bright future.

Because those with any semblance of power have been immunized against reacting to most of the specifics on this page.

We harnessed the atomic bomb in the middle of last century, but there are far more powerful weapons on the way before the middle of next century. A more peaceful outlook is essential.

There are more than a billion undernourished people in this world, and a billion die of starvation every few years.

In western countries average life expectancy is heading over 80 years. There are more than half a dozen countries where the life expectancy is still in the 30's. This is so thoroughly unacceptable that there are no words necessary.

In many western countries there are quarters of society, and not small ones, that actually believe it is cool to be uneducated.

And far more than half of the population of this world does not have access to proper schooling.

More and more young people are growing up without hope.

The ranks of the homeless around the world are growing, and there is a sense that they are developing into an acceptable underclass, if such a term could be used.

The incidents of domestic violence and of sexual violence against women and children are on the increase in a society that is supposedly becoming more developed, more civilised.

Our prisons are designed not for rehabilitation, but for training in criminal behaviour.

We have an adversarial system of justice that subordinates truth to the competition between individuals, indiscriminately treating the innocent as refuse, and the guilty as Gods.

We have all been desensitized against the noise about the many and varied environmental problems that plague us.

The trap of philanthropy is becoming an ever more popular past time, and with all of these resources directed into the metaphorical band aids, we feel far too good about ourselves to address the root causes of our problems.

And with all these things, the greater majority of those in western society either do not experience them first hand, or their experience is too painful to deal with, and because of this the issues are not real to them.

The system under which we operate at present is not designed to deal with these things, and the result of just allowing them to run their course will not be a positive one.

We don't need to change the world overnight, but we do need to change it, and in such a way so that those in power will actually want to run with the changes.

And just so it is not ambiguous, what is being said here is that H₃ is designed to address all of this, and a great deal more. How successful it will be can only be defined in action, but as one can tell even just from the language on this page, it looks at the problems so very differently to how we've viewed them up to this point.
